ODH Expired Order
TWi continues to follow CDC and DODD recommendations.
Canton, Ohio –On June 2, 2021, the Adult Day Support and Vocational Habilitation Services order issued by the Ohio Department of Health expired.
TWi will continue to follow the recommendations of DODD and the CDC. At this time, the CDC continues to recommend facial coverings for any person who is not fully vaccinated, meaning two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Beginning June 16, TWi staff persons who are able to provide proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination are no longer required to wear facial coverings within TWi facilities. Staff persons working in community settings will continue to abide by site specific requirements, regardless of vaccination status.
Per the Department of Transportation, all staff persons providing transportation services are required to continue wearing a facial covering regardless of vaccination status.
TWi is committed to providing a safe environment for all participants and staff. As we move forward, we will continue to take every precaution, including:
• Continued symptom monitoring
• Frequent hand cleansing opportunities
• Daily sanitization of all areas and touchpoints
• Vehicle sanitization after each use
We appreciate your continued vigilance in keeping our participants and staff safe. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact 330-479-3958.
