New Mask Guidelines
TWi continues to follow CDC and DODD recommendations.
Canton, Ohio – On July 27, 2021 the CDC updated current public health recommendations to add a recommendation for fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission of COVID. As of August 1, 2021, Stark County has been designated an area of substantial transmission.
Based on this information, TWi has made the decision to reinstate mask requirements for all staff regardless of vaccination status beginning August 9. Prior to this writing, staff persons with a valid, complete vaccination card were released from our mask policy.
Regarding participants, TWi strongly encourages that all participants, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks while indoors.
In addition to required masks for all staff persons, TWi continues to enforce the following safety measures:
- Social distancing to the greatest extent possible
- Continued symptom monitoring
- Frequent hand cleansing opportunities
- Daily sanitization of all areas and touchpoints
- Vehicle sanitization after each use
TWi will continue to follow CDC and DODD guidance, and evolve policies as new recommendations and information become available.
